I organize wine tours in the Douro Valley.

Porto, Portugal is served by Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO), which is the international airport for the city. Many airlines operate flights to Porto from various destinations in Portugal, across Europe and beyond.

Outside Europe, Porto is directly connected to New York, United States, Rio de Janeiro and São Paolo, Brasil,  Istanbul, Turkey, and Marrakesh, Morocco among others.

The airport is within a 25-minute ride to the city centre of Porto.  It is well connected by metro.  Taxi and Uber to the city of Porto are very inexpensive usually ranging from 10 to 15 euros per ride.

Porto airport is modern, efficient and not too big.  I find it very easy to navigate.
